[Android] [2021.41.0] This new "Discover" page is infinitely less useful than the old page which actually allowed me to find my joined subreddits. I'm fine with you adding a Discover page, just don't remove features to do it.

Yes right? My main use of reddit is to scroll my home feed and the feed of subreddits I follow. And now they made it more difficult by hiding my subs in this useless discovery folder. Why change what was great for years?

I literally never click on chat button on this app, but nooo take away your button for your subs like cmon man, going the way of FB trying to force things people don’t use………

Given that it causes the app to lag for an hour for me, I'm not even "okay" with them adding it. That feature is a disaster

Terrible update. They better fix this ASAP. Reddit is all about subs and now our subs are hidden behind too many tabs

They didn't remove the old features, they just hid them behind that little "See all" link. That takes you to the old page.

I really hope they remove this useless extra page. They probably won't since everyone hates it.

I'll add that all the posts that show up on the discover page are completely irrelevant to me

Yup, when I noticed that the icon had changed I feared that this hideous monstrosity was back, and unfortunately I was right.

I couldn't care less about what's popular outside subreddits I subscribe to, and if I did, I'd visit r/popular or r/all - not whatever this is. It really doesn't help that it looks and behaves completely different to everything else in the app, either.

I'm willing to guess that most of us are on Reddit because we're interested in specific subreddits, and quick access to our own curated lists of joined subs is paramount to the user experience.

Literally wastes time since it takes 5 seconds to load all the assets for that page forcing us to wait.

Whoever is in charge of their User Experience should be fired

Totally agree!

This bothered me so much, I uninstalled it and downloaded an apk of a former version just to get it back how it was.

Funny that on my SFW profile, the old search tab is still there

Also the posts representing the subreddits in this discovery can be gifs or videos, id which was it, i didn't check, and i don't want them to autoplay like it did, uses my data unnecessairly

My alt still has everything like before, just my main lost it. So annoying. How can you even tell what and who you follow anymore?
