In an effort to be more transparent

Did my eyes deceive me, or did you just type the word ***transparent***?

Let’s make something abundantly clear. Spending every waking second of your lives working together to create the shittiest and buggiest mobile experience ever conceived by mortal beings, and silently acting like nothing is wrong while all of Reddit riots, is not transparency.

Wanna try and be “more transparent”? Tell me, right now, why the new video player still exists. Period. Just tell me plainly why a feature 0% of users asked for and 100% hate and want gone for good is still on this app.

And if you grow the balls to do that, why not give us a little insight on what the living fuck is happening at Reddit HQ that’s been letting so much dogshit design through the cracks. You know, *transparency*.

Why don't you guys actually listen to the feedback that's being given? I don't want to rail on you guys too hard, but it's gotten more and more frustrating over the past year because we don't feel like we're being heard. You guys never respond, and when you do it's a canned response. It doesn't feel like you really care what your users want anymore, which didn't used to be the case. It used to be fairly easy to communicate with administration, but it's gotten so bad lately and it really doesn't feel like you guys listen.

My homepage icon has changed from the little magnifying glass to a compass arrow and now my home feed looks like pinterest. If I want to go on pinterest I would. Why doesn't my homepage have the usual card view I know and love?

If any creditors know how to switch it back to normal I will be grateful. I have tried the settings but it doesn't seem to change anything.

I can't find any of my favourite subreddits or custom channels...really good update you gave us here! 🤦🏻‍♂️ Won't be using the app until it's fixed. Who in the hell wants to "explore" ?!?! We know what content we like, that's why we follow subreddits in the first place 🤦🏻‍♂️

Why do you keep pushing things that nobody wants and on doing so, hide the parts we do use?

I regret updating; as there is a no longer a quick access to go to my subscriptions. It is really unfortunate this update is decreasing my overall Reddit experience.

Uh, I can't seem to find the subreddits I joined. Instead I'm seeing a collection of random images with no relation to any content I've ever upvoted or shown interest in. How do I change it?

The update's available for me, but idk if I even wanna do it. Was is the update gonna do? Mess up the video player even more? Break something that was working just fine?

Listen to us, please! You might think that these 'updates' are good for the app, but they really aren't. Nobody likes the video player and nobody likes whatever the heck that new explore page is. Please just revert those two updates, that's all we want.

This sadly isnt a good update, the app takes ages to load anything. I have to wait forever to load my feed.

Posts are a bit quicker but still take ages. And it is most certainly not my internet.

Also the video player sucks ass.

Reddit for Android is so trash. If your gonna constantly beg me to use the app when I'm on browser, then I expect my experience to be flawless, which it isnt. This is one big pet peeve I have about reddit mobile. Whats the difference between browsing on the app and browsing on a browser?? Oh yea the browser is superior to the app.

I WANT THE MY COMMUNITIES BUTTON BACK ON THE BOTTOM WHERE IT WAS. Its ridiculous now taking me to discovery, takes forever to load, and I could give two shits about the pictures that come up. Really turns reddit off for me. Unnecessary change, takes longer also

Just received a message from my provider that over 80% of monthly mobile data has been used up. When I went to check my data usage, it showed that Reddit used up 1.3 GB of data in the last **three days**!! What is going on with the app??

Edit: I use the mobile app perhaps 1-2 hours per day, mostly reading stories or text posts, not even watching videos.
