View submission: What we’re working on this year

The Discover tab on the app sucks. I just want my subscribed tab back.

This so much. Reddit removed an essential part of the experience and replaced it with something entirely useless. Please bring the subscription tab back, even if you're so bloody-minded that you need to leave in Discover.

Especially trying to go through a list of subreddits, the alphabetical search is gone

Same. Discover tab is horrible and I refuse to use it.

You still have it, though its so well hidden that it took me a year to find it

On the main homepage swipe right from the left side

You do know about the drawer thing, right? It's not really the same though because you have to open it back up and scroll every time you want to switch subreddits.

You can swipe from the left to pull up subs and swipe from the right to pull up your "posts/saved/history" etc.

I haven't tapped the discover shit ever since they updated to this. Idk who actually likes using that shit.

This. I would use the ‘Recently Visited Communities’ at the top hundreds of times per day.

Assuming you’re on mobile, I legit can’t phantom how you stand the Reddit app. There are so much better alternatives that aren’t engineered to extract previous data out of their users; Apollo on iOS and RIF on Android come to mind.

Agree x 1000. I do not ever use the discover tab. And now the “home” tab includes content I’m subbed to plus DOZENS AND DOZENS of content suggestions for stuff I am not subbed to. I don’t need subs to be advertised to me within the platform. I’m already here on Reddit.

It feels like Reddit is trying a new angle to encourage endless scrolling. And that just feels cheap and annoying. It’s not why I joined.
