Cause their eventual goal no matter how much they insist otherwise is to deprecate old.reddit due to minimal use, so why put effort into it?

They can pry old reddit from my cold dead hands. If it ever goes away, I’ll just go be a fuckin’ discord degenerate instead.
Though I bet if old dies someone will make a browser extension that converts the new reddit(s) to old.
