Almost certainly not. Very few people would go and type out an image link by hand, rather than copy it (most apps and computers have this), or be programmed to just grab it automatically.

That, and I'd doubt reddit would expect users to go and use their image hotlink. They would much rather people use the standard post links, so they don't lose out on engagement/advertising.
