View submission: Reddit. This is not good.

I hardly glance at frontpage anymore. It's all subs for me these days.

I'm relatively new to reddit. Which subs do you recommend?

This is 100% because of the idiot mods on here, adding usermods, and the inbred mentality that pushes idiotic niche-cunt subs to the default front page.

Months ago there were stories on here that you could no longer recommend reddit to your friends because the default, not logged in front page was like a gay-incest bukkake movie of fail. Every single thing that is wrong with reddit, all seems to float to the top, because of the user-moderator ideas and the persistence code base support for these anti-meritocratic ideas.

I left reddit 2 years ago, and intermittently relapse with some account I think of on the spot, usually when I have too much work to do. When I get over the work load, and am free, I tend to do something much more interesting, because reddit has become a dirty vice, a last resort of worn out attention spans.

It sucks. Fuck you mods, fuck you for your banning, your unwritten tomes of quasi-rulings because you want to determine how reddit is, and how people talk, people getting banned for having an opinion or making jokes. You are all a bunch of fucking twats, who then come together to point your primitive stick-minds at china and other places for not being open to criticism.

Fuck you thrice.

How did you see this post?

The problem with subs is you miss out on the vast majority of the community. That's increasingly becoming less and less of a bad thing, but there are still plenty of good people that never get past the front page.

When you start getting into the less popular subforums you inevitably see the same people posting over and over again. That gets dull.

Is the "frontpage" the list of articles you immediately get when you go to http://www.reddit.com[1] ? Or is there something else I'm missing?

Yeah, I was gonna say... My front page looks nothing like that. Remove /r/funny, /r/pics, and /r/wtf and suddenly reddit becomes a much nicer place.

If I were a mod in one of the main subreddits I'd be dropping the banhammer left and right. I think it should be the new 4chan arrivals who should be forced into subreddits and not the other way around.

Honestly I think they are asleep at the switch.

I find the 'next' button at the bottom of the screen usually reveals more treasures than the front page itself.

sweet, fuck this place. i'm going back to digg. reddit has become a hate-fest against anybody who doesn't agree with the liberal ideology.

my comments(even the sensible ones) get dug down INSTANTLY by anybody who disagrees. generally the comment wont even stay up for more than a few minutes before being hidden in the 'load more comments' tab.

anyways, fuck off reddit. i dont like 4chan and i never will.
