You can only detect the tools that are used to manipulate you, when you grew up with them (and were educated a bit on critical thinking or the tools in question).

It is the pace of development that is an issue. The older generation can't even tell if a picture is photoshopped.

Now that AI can make convincing videos at first glance, a new generation became old.
