Hi All. In line with how the meetup venue has been chosen in the past, I invite suggestions from you.
From the last announcement thread I was able to gather some feedback. People are looking for (in no particular order and combination):
1. Pet friendly location
2. Large space for 20,25 ish people
3. Drinks at or nearby the location
4. Be specific, dont say Aundh. Tell us place there.
One thing I have been told repeatedly is: There will be college kids and not everyone has money to spend. So hopefully if it could be a place which isnt expensive, that would be great. We can always proceed to another location after the initial His and Hellos.
In the interest of a smooth discussion for this thread, I only request the below:
If you want to suggest a venue, please only make a root comment. If you agree, upvote it. If you disagree: OPTIONALLY tell us why, AND suggest an alternative. Its extremely easy to disagree for a reason and just downvote.
If you have more than one suggestions, make as many comments. I will delete root comments that are not venue locations.
Obviously the most upvoted location, might not be chosen if its there just by virtue of being funny. eg: Budhwar Peth.
Thanks, for reading that wall.

Sambhaji Park, JM Road is a well known place for meetups. Several influencers and YouTubers have meetups there in the past. Plus points include proximity to FC Road which as we all know can provide anyone with food/drinks. JM road in itself has several eateries too.

ARAI tekdi, the part near the quarry gets my vote. It's equidistant from most places, and there's no compulsion to spend money. Might proceed to a resto-bar possibly if people wish, post 7ish or something.

It's gonna end up in an Irish Pub just like all the years before isn't it :P and if we're gonna get 25 people that'll be a great turnout! KP is a great place to chill and lots of watering holes near by. Somewhat center of the city too.

How about Hippie@Heart? It has a great outdoor seating where you can drink as well as interact.

I would suggest Pune University.
1. Plenty of open space, good number of auditoriums like lalit kala kendra
2. Eateries inside the campus.
I think we can just gather there and meet. No need for any official permissions etc.

My suggestion: Pu La Garden on Sinhgad road: plenty of open air as well as spaces with roof (in case of rains). Perfect for mid size gatherings.

Claasic rock cafe in kalyani nagar is pet friendly and spacious enough to accomodate 20 to 25 people. But depends on where the majority is coming from.

Cocopara, Kharadi. Bring your dogs. There is food ( not great) but okay. And booze. Ticks all parts. The restaurant has open siting so night time is preferable in the summer.
