In keeping with an annual tradition established over the past few years, Reddit again partnered with Adobe to bring our community together for something special. This year, that ‘something’ is a showing of respect for a community that has come to define a large part of what “community” means on Reddit.

Ten years ago, r/PhotoshopBattles was born. Over the course of that decade, it would grow up to become arguably the most creative community on Reddit. The community’s diverse mix of razor-sharp wit and technical wizardry has come to define a large part of who we are… So, This year we partnered with Adobe again, and agreed it was time to thank and celebrate this magnificent community in a fashion worthy of its namesake; This year PS Battles… Goes Live.

*How Does It Work?**

This tribute is designed to be played as a team sport. By participating in any way, submitting or commenting or voting, you will be auto-assigned to one of 5 teams; Mint, Sakura, Orangered, Mango, or Alien. You can comment below to reveal your team. This is your team. You cannot change it.

Over the course of the next week **(First Pre-Battle begins tomorrow, Oct 12)** you will meet your teammates, pack out your toolbelt, learn new skills, refine those skills, and meet the Host of the tournament that will play out in the following week **(First Official Tournament Battle goes live Sunday, Oct. 17)**. Beginning on **Oct. 18**, the winners, losers, highlights, and low lives of each round will be broadcasted Live, here, as an RPAN stream in r/PSBattlesLive.

Everyone who wants to play, can… create battle submissions, comment, vote, or simply just watch, and in the end you will help determine the 2021 PS Battle Live Ultimate Super Mega Champions, a designation that will echo throughout eternity (as a badge) across every comment and post in r/PhotoshopBattles.
