"It was International Women’s Day at Old Courthouse Square on Saturday and those who gathered decried injustices they said pointed to the demise of women’s rights, human rights and the end of our country’s democracy.
The local gathering was one out of many held internationally to demand equal rights for women across the globe.
In Santa Rosa, roughly 1,500 attendees of all ages — some in strollers and others in their late 70s — raised signs that read: “Abort unwanted presidencies,” “Never again,” next to an image of a coat hanger, “No one voted for Elon Musk” and more."
