How many goddamn times are we going to see this garbage posted? Not only is it factually incorrect, but it's been posted on here several dozen times.
Despite that, a post like this still gets upvotes. You people on /r/politics amaze me to no end.

Dug up more after your comment and found this Washingtopn Post[1] article. Doesn't reference the Forbes article but covers the same issue. And declares it has significant factual errors. Thanks!
I am actually sorry and embarrassed that I posted this. Haven't been following /r/politics much these days. A friend sent this and I did a search but didn't find anything on reddit. Hopefully people read the Washington Post debunking too.

Came to say this! This is a misleading article that equates a growth in spending % to overall spending, which is just wrong. Annoys me every time it comes up.
