Boost for Reddit app on Android was the answer for me.
Place on normal Reddit app, but everything else on boost loads way way better for me

Erase your cache. The app always acts up for me whenever my cache gets to about 400 MB.

Baconreader never lets me down. I paid for the add free version years ago and is the only think that makes Reddit bearable on mobile. Well, that and blokada so there are no adds anywhere.

R/place worked better on my phone than on my pc. Maybe the app has something built in to decrease synchronize data? I know my pcs browser was just crazy when looking at the network calls.

r/place literally crashed my **phone** on multiple occasions. I mean itโd just make it black screen while looking around the canvas. It was ridiculous.
