Ahoy, Pirate Radio Crew! I'm planning a protest where we'll likely be on the move quite a bit, and I need to make sure everything stays above board and legal. Is there a reliable way to set up a portable FM station? We were considering using multiple low-powered, portable transmitters to relay an internet feed every 1,000 feet or so. Ideally, I'd prefer an off-the-shelf solution, but we do have some resources to work with. Any tips or proven setups?

Check your local regulations for 'low power FM broadcast' transmitters, there are many small transmitters of a few watt output that will cover a hundred meter radius, or more. Typically operate from 12v.

'pirate radio' is typically not legal.

Could you use an fm transmitter that used to plug into cars? They're relatively short range and used an aux cable, or are you specifically looking for a thousand foot transmitter?

Stick to Bluetooth stuff.

In most western countries the wattage you are being suggested would require licensing, if available.

Piss off regulated broadcasters and you create more problems.

So the 'party' has turned into a protest?
