Who designed smartphones with software that can deliberately brick the otherwise functional phone in a way that meets the profit demands of shareholders?
Who decided buying rare Earth minerals from warlords and assembling them using Chinese labor overworked to the point of suicide?
Who determined that modern Life revolves around reliable access to the functions a smart phone offers?
Who started letting spammers flood landlines making them effectively a useless nuisance instead of a means of communicating with others?
Please don't conflate living in a system created by and catering to the whims of others with being responsible for it. Power exists, and it's use is reflected by the decisions of the sellers not the rabble who are "free to choose" amongst predetermined options Laid out by those with power.
