That's just what I **think**... I'm by no means an expert of any kind. I got thinking about the same thing too, when he said we should "take away all that distinguishes two units from one another". I wish he could have pointed out the stipulation that the two units must occupy two distinct places in space or time. Otherwise, it isn't really two. It's the same unit. It's really one.

I don't see how the distinction between 1 and 2 should have to turn on any special stipulations about space or time. Numbers have a scope way beyond counting apples.
