First of all, I want to sincerely thank everyone who reached out in the DMs and comments. Your kindness, concern, and willingness to help truly meant a lot. This wasn’t a call for charity, nor was I expecting anything—I just needed to share something that deeply affected me.
Alhamdulillah, the rickshaw has been recovered. It turns out that a drug addict (charsi) stole it from outside the masjid. Fortunately, the local neighbors stepped up, pressuring the police to take the matter seriously. Thanks to their efforts, the police were able to track it down. The thief had already sold the rickshaw to someone in the market, but thankfully, it has now been returned.
JazakAllah for your willingness to support the family. May Allah bless you all.

Edit: For clarification, people who were willing to help, I simply told them to wait until I could ask if the family would allow people to help or not. Meanwhile, the rickshaw has been recovered, so I just couldn't ask them.

Words cannot fully express the depth of gratitude for your kindness and courage in helping recover the stolen rickshaw of a poor man. In a world where many turn a blind eye to injustice, you chose to stand up for someone who had no voice, no resources, and no means to fight back. Your selflessness has not only restored his livelihood but also renewed faith in humanity.
For a poor man, a rickshaw is not just a vehicle; it is his lifeline, his means to feed his family, and his hope for a better tomorrow. When it was stolen, so was his dignity and peace of mind. But you, with your determination and compassion, brought back more than just his rickshaw—you gave him hope. Your efforts are a reminder that true heroes are not those with power or wealth, but those with kind hearts and brave souls.
May God bless you abundantly for being the voice of the voiceless, for fighting for what is right, and for showing that goodness still exists. The world needs more people like you. Thank you for your kindness, and may your generosity return to you a hundredfold.
Ameen
yours truly,
poodina

Can you still share that family's details? I can pay them to get a security and tracking system installed in the Rickshaw. If a charsi could steal it easily, that means it is very easy to steal or snatch.

You can still ask them if they would like to be helped. It’s Ramadan I think everyone can be a little bit charitable. He’s a young boy working when he should be studying. I suggest still asking them if they would like the gofundme
