I just googled what Oklahoma exports to Canada and found this (it's a pdf so fair warning)

In case you don't want to download a pdf:

$330M in services, $860M in goods to Canada per year.

If Canada really wants to cut out throats, just stop the supply of raw minerals. Canada is our number 1 provider of minerals. If we loose that guess what pipes can't be made. Those compressors and plane parts can't be made. Oh you need copper for wires and such nope. China is number 2 but almost half of what Canada gives us.

I could be wrong but I've read we import gas because our refineries are set for it vs what we produce. Sure could probably update refineries but that costs money and if tariffs don't longer than 4 years is it worth it to spend capital? Believe we need Canadian oil along with Central/South America.

Not that Baby's 1st Tariff cares. Rich probably gain as they purchase companies/assets from people hurt. And the the rest of us lose more wealth since cant save. Rich probably get tax right off as use Corps to buy personal stuff so it's an expanse.

You're gonna feel some economic pain but trust me it's for your own good ...is the most abusive male thing to ever say. Right up there with you made me do it..... I feel like I'm back in the abusive relationship I left 20 yrs ago.

Canada is our biggest trading partner.

I'm also curious what happens to the Gren Li-ion battery recycling in Atoka. It was opened with IRA incentives/investment etc. It's the only one like it in the US and the jobs were desperately needed. Hopefully, killing the IRA doesn't kill SE OK even more.

Is there a list of local businesses that should be supported or not?
