Mine already went up by $100 last month despite using less of everything. Gonna end up living by candlelight soon just to have heat.

last year at this time our NIPSCO bill was on average $400 a month. This year we've used less gas and less electricity and my bill doubled.

Mine was pretty normal. And I even ran the house a couple degrees warmer when the weather outside was really cold. So that my pipes wouldn't freeze in my crawl space.

My bill was just the payment slip and a picture of someone in NIPSCO accounting rubbing one out over a weather report.

After moving to Michigan from Merrillville/Crown Point

My electric and gas is so much cheaper. Gas alone is also much cheaper even during the winter. Idk if I ever saw my gas bill over $70 Summer months usually $15-$20

$508 for us. Highest ever. Live in an old, drafty house with old windows and no insulation in the walls. Cedar siding and plaster walls at least, helps somewhat. Hardwood floors. There's a closet in our bedroom that gets about 40F. We use radiator heaters to supplement the furnace heat. I keep the heat basically off when no one is home, and only 65F-67F when we're home. Wife suffers through it and complains the whole time.

Here's a look at my furnace usage for January

I'm keeping my house at 63 degrees right now. Everything is getting more expensive.

Thanks Obama (jk)

I feel for y’all. I left NWI and pay a whopping $500 a month for a 3 bedroom house and $100/month for electric, like $45 for gas, and $70 for waste/water. So much cheaper once you leave the region.

302 this past month, standard 3/2 house. Most of it was electricity from my daughters bf I think. Him and that gaming computer. Told him he’s gonna have to start coming out of pocket if the electric rate continues. Gas was only $60 of that bill.
