Lived in VT. Lots of lovely people.
Also some of the biggest pretentious assholes I’ve ever seen. When I was applying for an apartment, the building manager asked for my work reference, so I sent her the company contact info where you can verify employment. Nope, she wanted to talk to my boss and asked some pretty personal questions to see “if I met the vibe of the building.”
Lady, I’m not loud, I don’t smoke, and I can pay rent. That’s all you need to know.
