I feel like this is really negative. I recently moved to Vermont from a big city out west. I love it here. The people are amazingly kind.
There's 'a lot of ugly' beneath all of humanity...and a lot of beauty, too.

You don’t need to add the lot of beauty part. We know that. That’s the point of the comment you responded to. People have this image of it being a kind and friendly place but yet people still get shot in the street.
