Why is that? I think I watched the Director' Cut 15+ years ago.

But if you see the Directors Cut first you don't have to deal with all this anguish.

I owned the Directors Cut and watched it hundreds of times, and it does not ruin the original cut. Honestly my favorite scene in the movie is only in the DC.
