View submission: Announcing Remove as a Subreddit
This seems a pretty good idea, and apparently we can avoid issues like an account getting hacked (never happened afaik, but very possible).
As a heads up, we are thinking about funneling the messages this account receives into mod mail. We’d love to hear your thoughts on if this would be helpful.
Do it ASAP. However, I know that mods sometimes get reddit chat messages. Maybe talk with the team working on that for those that *need* to see those messages?

`"Will we know which mod used the account on mod log?”`
Good news - we will highlight this information in mod log. Additionally mods will be able to discern who posted this removal reason by hovering over the u/subredditname-ModTeam name to see which mod on their team took this action (mods will be able to click to do this on mobile).

When it was released by mistake a few days ago you could hover the -ModTeam name and the mod's usercard would appear.

heads up, ^ this user is a mod in multiple big subreddits and is known to abuse his power by removing stuff he doesn't like or ban users unreasonably and even removing the complaints about him from r/europemeta. Of course he doesn't want people to know it was him and wants to hide behind an invisible mantle
