There isn’t a good reason, and we understand the current way to access modmail on iOS is circuitous at best. The good news is that in the coming weeks you’ll be able to directly access modmail on iOS in the “left-side hamburger menu” of the app.

TIL modmail isn't available on iOS... it's available in the app I use lol
