Agreed. I don't really like this idea anyway. I stopped reading when I got to "Our goals with this change are to recognize ~~awarding~~ paying Reddit as a key part of the Reddit community"

I hated it this post the second it didn’t say “we are getting rid of the awards system”. That will be the only change I ever support. At least get rid of all the freaking emoji awards; it’s ridiculous.
Awards, if anything, should be awarded by getting certain amount upvotes not by freaking paying for them.
