How about open CSS to new.reddit, then base your sitewide design updates off popular user-created features?

At the risk of being seen as cliche, this is an idea that makes way too much sense.

Please new.reddit: stop this whitespace nonsense

This. Whenever reading a page I feel like my gaze is just plummeting off the edges into all that whitespace. It's hard to focus on content

Also modqueue in new.reddit is terrible with the way it only shows the first few lines of reported content
