View submission: Updates to Community Page Design on Desktop

We can definitely look into that. Just to clarify however, the custom widgets are actually barely moved down the page at all, since we removed some elements and buttons from the sidebar that would be redundant with things we moved to the top of the page.

I removed the ad in these screenshots because I was getting on tall ad and one short ad (so in reality it would end up being slightly lower on the page) but you can see how they compare relative to each other.

Did you guys consider the idea of putting flair filter options in a dropdown menu in the bar with sort and view options?

It's a faaaar more logical place for them to be. ("here's the bar where you control post filtering, sorting, and appearance."
I think they'd be more accessible there.
There's a lot of unused space there.
It wouldn't push other widgets further down the page.
Seeing them all in a list makes it easier to find the one you want rather than a jumbled cloud of them.

Not as bad as I thought, thanks for the clarification. I couldn't get the preview URL to work for me (perhaps because I use old reddit as default?).

Why the hell wouldn't you let us move the widget to where we want? This is *our* design.
