Moderators: you can now view contest-mode threads in any sort

Contest mode originally forced the sort to `top` for mods to assist in choosing winners. However, /u/timotab pointed out[1] that the ability to use `new` as well would be useful for moderation.

Now you're able to use whichever sort method you wish when browsing a thread in contest mode.

Happy moderating, and thanks for the work that you do.

It's always great to see admins implementing suggestions so quickly - 9 days!

Now to become a mod in a sub where this would matter. Also that's awesome

You know what would be really helpful is a contest mode view that throws out the down votes or ranks posts considering only upvotes. I do a concert series every year for Chicago, and every year, acts have all of their fans downvote every other submission. Back in the day, I could throw out the down votes with RES. As it stands, that's actually a great strategy to cheat on reddit polls and contests.

Great! Could you also let regular users sort contest mode threads by new as well, in case they revisit a thread and want to vote on anything that's been posted since their last visit?

umm, can you guys implement to hide scores permanently without collapsing all child comments?

Some subs prefer to permanently hide scores, and the only current way to do that is via contest mode. However the collapsing of child comments makes it annoying for users.

Can we implement a search by date range function?

e.g. posts older than 6 months, posts more than 1 year 5 months but less than 2 years, etc.

Thank you.
