View submission: Providing context to banned users
This announcement is just "fuck you" from the Admins, I think.
The vast majority of moderating is done on old reddit, and they have the data that indicates it, and the least amount of moderating is done on mobile (Because it's hell to moderate on mobile).
So they created this feature to release it to like 5 people and brag about how nobody else gets it.

For what it's worth, one or two apps are *decent* at mobile modding but I think we know how Reddit feels about others competing with their app...

I mean this certainly improved the situation for mods since it makes mobile moderating better. They just focused the delivery wrong. They should be highlighting that this brings mobile modding closer to usable

I disagree with this. I actually use New Reddit exclusively; the only time I use Old Reddit is when I'm forced to, such as with /comments
