This is a good point and we’ll look out for this post-launch. To be clear, mods who do not have permissions to manage settings (but do have permissions to manage items in the queue) will not be shown this option.

Please, there should at least be the option to update the reason or not - not by default. I often edit removal reasons as I'm adding them to further customise for the situation, but that doesn't mean I want to change the actual premade removal reason at all.

I just hope people understand that it's changing a global subreddit setting. It seems unexpected and bitey to be able to change a crucial subreddit setting during the process of routine modding.

I work in an industry with controlled documents, bin the editing on the fly and add a "Suggest removal reason change" which creates a modmail discussion. Then other mods can discuss it and make the change or it can be a reminder for you (the mod) to make the change later on.

That's only IF there should even be a button about all this on the removal reason page.

A quality of life improvement would be reordering removal reason locally and to cache removal reason locally. If you don't have great signal or you're on the move, having to wait for the removal reasons to pop up can be super frustrating.
