Hey everyone,
You may see an influx of posts on this subreddit - that's because Reddit has suddenly pushed an update to their mobile app (at least on iOS) that enables subreddit creation from mobile. However, it seems that many subreddit settings are not accessible via app and so we have a decent number of people who are confused about how to customize their newly created subreddit.
Edit: It appears that this option is restricted to iOS at the moment.
Please **do not** post to r/ModSupport - that subreddit is meant to serve as a contact point with *admins* about urgent matters. If your post is just about what to do with your newly created subreddit, this place, r/modhelp, is the place to ask.

As always, moderation of subreddits is *best done on desktop* rather than mobile, so if you have access to a computer that is highly encouraged. Reddit seems to not have ported the subreddit settings and styling tools to the mobile app.
And thanks to all the patient mods and users who help newbies with their questions.

Oh shit! You’re one of the mods for the Choices sub! Didn’t know you were a mod of this too! Idk why I’m excited but I just think it’s neat lol

Perhaps you should add here and /r/ModSupport to your list, with a short blurb differentiating them. It would be great if new mods actually knew the focus of those two communities and understood the right places to direct their questions to.

Might also help to add in that you cannot use the majority of mod tools on the app and either need to use a desktop or desktop version of the mobile site.

Seems rather odd to allow subreddit creation through mobile app, but not allow them to modify it.

Two questions;
Is the feature confirmed on android?
Where would a mobile user find said feature?

Why do I keep getting activity notices about upvotes and karma? It's annoying and spamming up my inbox. How to turn this off?
I'm using an iPad.
Is this the right sub to ask this?

I’m trying to figure out why I cannot create communities, rules state that I should be at least 30 days old and have some positive karma and I have 6 karma and 43 days old already
