The new post scheduler[1] is up and running in **new reddit**. There is some guidance here[2] in the help centre.

It's been updated to include adding the date in the title, post types, and more[3] and now you can also schedule a post to be posted by automoderator[4].

*"As we get closer to that new date, we will still send modmail notifications to all subreddits that use Automod Scheduler to remind them of the deprecation."*
~~To stop the old scheduler posting remove the rules from the wiki page and send the message to automod to update the schedule as you normally would after a change. Keep sending until you get a reply - it can take a while!~~
~~Sending a message every quarter of an hour is plenty, and it may be more responsive late night (US times zones) - as recommended by~~ r/automoderator~~.~~
This will have stopped now it is depreciated.

**EDIT** How to stop/delete posts in the new scheduler
**NEW** Do I need to add u/automoderator as mod?

To test **what happens if you leave as mod and have some posts you set up scheduled**, I scheduled the following with an alt and left the sub:

Thanks to u/ILikeNeurons for asking here
More[8] once the post has failed that's it, rejoining as mod doesn't count and the post needs updating (except if it hasn't tried to post since the mod left, then rejoining means it's goes ahead like normal). Edit - this is being looked at now[9]
Correct as of 29th March 2021

Hey, just wondering if the sticky as first post/second post option is broken? I tried both but it keeps sticking it as the second post and its overwriting some of our other sticked threads :L
