View submission: Flair in redesign

I really need a simple explanation on how to get a user flair. Every time I read a book on this I only get more lost in the explanation. I’m actually starting to get frustrated because I haven’t been able to post for years. Every time I think I did what I needed to I get my post taken down. They made posting way more complicated than it needed to be and harder for new users. 😤

This guide is for moderators to set their community's flair option up.

I think you need r/NewToReddit and r/LearnToReddit

There are some video guides on user flair here https://www.reddit.com/r/LearnToReddit/wiki/index

And this one is specific to the community but may help https://imgur.com/a/e3y2BWG

Not all communities have user flair enabled and the mods decide if users can add their own or not.

Sometimes communities have restrictions that look at your account age and karma - r/newtoreddit has a lot on this.
