Hi mods, how's it going?

What are you working on? What is going well? Any plans for new things on your sub?

My co-head moderator on a couple of 200,000+ member subreddits uses reddit's iOS mobile app on his phone and tablet to moderate. This guy is really dedicated and puts in hours a day making sure that the subs run smoothly and are drama-free.

For weeks now many mod tools have been unusable or nearly unusable for him, and it's very discouraging. He's still putting in the same massive hours but can barely get anything done anymore.

Is this problem using the iOS app to moderate on reddit a known issue? I've seen things mentioned here and there on /r/ModSupport, but I have no idea if it's as bad for everyone as it is for my friend, since I use old reddit on a PC to moderate.

Since I don't use a phone to moderate I don't even know if there's a better place to ask this question.

Thanks in advance for any help or insights that anyone can provide .

Hi! Recently I have been added as a mod in a non-english community. Here is my question: Is there a way for AM to reply to people who comment without having a user flair indicating the club that they suport (It's a football community) and helping them find how to get one? If yes, what's the rule that I should use?

I've been trying to find a replacement for duplicate destroyer since it stopped working a couple of months back. Only a few people are doing it and it's hard to prove as they keep deleting their older posts.

Does anyone have any advice about to deal with what we assume is a single user abusing the report button? We have a fairly prolific poster on our sub and there is one user (we think) that reports every single post they make as spam. Obviously there is “ignore reports” but that only works on an individual thread. I can’t see a way to figure out who is abusing the report button and limit their ability to spam the “spam” button.

Is it possible to filter all comments on a post using automod? If so, what script should I use? Thank you.
