View submission: Moving Countries, So Many Books!
I don't know if this is still an option but there used to be an international "media mail" category for mailing documents and books. If, not and you really want to have the books understandably, see if you can buy them on digital and store the paper ones in a storage locker somewhere until you feel you are more settled.

Thank you so much for mentioning this! Sounds like a dream come true! In all my googling I actually did come across that a couple of days ago but the official site said it wasn't available internationally. That said, your comment made me consider it again and that perhaps there are other similar options so I will definitely good some more on that specifically - thanks so much! :)
