View submission: Moving Countries, So Many Books!
Why do you have them and do you use them on a regular basis? What is the need for those books today?

Long story but I do plan to study them 100%. Excellent question you ask - unfortunately all it informs me is that I shouldn't have bought them before I needed them lol. But it has also made me look at whether I just give them away and gradually buy them in the future as I need them. I haven't done the full math yet but it might be something like $2.5K to ship them now, or $5K gradually to replace them over the years. Obviously on a straight mathematical basis the first option is cheaper but I just don't love the idea of spending $2.5K on moving books right now, won't need them any time soon, and also don't love the idea of schlepping around once I get to the next country... So learning toward the latter despite the overall financial loss. We'll see...
