Most rivals skins cost 5 usd less than what OW charges and you have a good story behind most skins.

Also MR is a third person game. You can view the skin you bought in all its glory and get more milage out of it where Overwatch skins you only see the hand and the gun.

Also in my opinion they are way better designed. I like like 80% of Rivals skins, while liking maybe 30% of Overwatch skins.
