Hello everyone,

some might have seen this video alredy, of the ex solider who videoed his tre experienced. At the end he has this gasping (at around 1:32) https://youtu.be/Wr2XFrinOlo?si=V5JXcRxLCxKHL4i8

I experienced the same thing from time to time. Have been doing tre for more than 2 years now. I often get the feeling of a dry throat, which is followed my be almost coughing my lungs out. When coughing it sometimes feels like my nervous system gets struck, but not necessarily in a bad way.

So my question ist, has anyone of you experienced the same, or at least something similar? It is Not something I have read in this forum yet, but I believe me and the guy from the video are not the only ones.

Ty for your answers in advance guys ♥️

Yes, I have had an intense period of several months of coughing, dry throat and globus (lump in throat) sensation.

Not quite the same, but I frequently feel the need to exhale hard and looong and feels like my lungs will collapse from the sheer force of it. It's like I am pushing some bad shit out of my body through my breath. Definitely a type of release. I have had retching and vomiting too. They're all ways to expel stuff.

For many months now I’ve been having painful spasms in my chest and throat that turn into a kind of dry gagging. Sometimes the spasms are so strong I can hear the bones and cartilage crackling inside my chest and throat, and then my jaw cracks, and sometimes it’s like a silent scream, but no tears. This can happen at any time, not necessarily during TRE. It does seem to release tension eventually, but it can be arduous. I don’t try to resist this anymore, but I do wish I could finally release whatever blocked emotions are inside me (grief, rage, terror, etc). I’m pretty confident that one day it will all come out…

Very similar experience here. When I gasp it almost feels like energy is released and I feel a sense of calmness. There is definitely something there.
