Apologies, I was thinking of things that may help with the overthinking part.
Re TRE what I can comment on having done it for a few months, after certain sessions I definitely felt less "in my head" and more connected with my body. But then there's been other times where I can overthink a little more after some sessions also so it does depend as everyone responds differently.
One thing I will mention though, less is definitely more with this modality..and giving yourself multiple days in-between sessions is very important for integration. You mentioned about IFS and other somatic practices, I'm no expert either so see what others on here say but id be cautious of doing too many things at once because you wouldn't want to load your nervous system with multiple practices.

Thank you. I am very cautious, I did TRE several times alone and with a TRE practitioner , and only one time I experienced a small relieve from it, the other times it did nothing for me. That's why I am asking...
