I cracked the screen of my iPad and if I bring it to Apple to fix, it will cost over $300 and they don’t fix it on site, but send it to be fixed. So, I'm hoping that someone knows somewhere else that I can bring it where they can fix it relatively quickly and have it not cost $300+.  I tried looking for a place and I found a few, but I don't know which are reliable.

I’m hoping that someone has a suggestion of where I can take an iPad to be repaired?  Ideally in the Garden City/Westbury/Carle Place area. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!

There’s a place in Babylon Village called Cell Phone Resurrection. The owner, Jason is awesome. My phone fell in the bay and he was able to fix it. I’ve had many screens repaired there for my phone and iPad. His prices are reasonable and the service is quick.

There's a place in Roosevelt Field mall in the basement that I believe fixes screens for phones. They may also do iPads if you want to check them out and ask

PhoRep in Glen Cove does a great job.

If you go down the non-Apple route ask about FaceID if that’s important. My wife had her iPhone screen replaced at an UBreakiFix place and they didn’t mention she’d lose FaceID capability.

Additionally either the installation or the replacement screen wasn’t great because the UBreakIFix screen broke within 2 weeks after a very light drop…

She got rid of the phone after that…

I am not positive if they do, but check out a shop called UBreakIFix, they are a chain I've seen around the island. I've never been but have heard good things. Just not sure if they fix iPads. I know they do phones and such though
