I felt personally attacked by the latest ElitPonkots' video on his cirilisation of Polish and felt the need to defend my own system by mocking his (how mature of me).

You know that meme with ever escalating bad dudes?

French is the 2nd guy, Tibetan is the 3rd.

In the case of languages like Irish, which has complex mutation processes which stem from the language's history, having an etymological orthography really helps it so that related words and inflections of the same word aren't completely unrecognisable.

No orthography is phonetic, if anything they are phonemic. Sorry to destroy you with facts and logic 😎

Totally signing the chad.

Chociaż twoja werzja nie jest lepsza boś dodał nieistniejące litery. Abyś zrobił fajną cyryllizację polskiego, trzebasz używa tylko bułgarską cyryllicę (do reformy 1945.)

And then you get languages like Czech with an unholy mix of phonetic and etymological orthography that doesn't make any sense and confuses native speakers even more that non-natives.

I don't like that morphological orthographies are always forgotten. The system in Russian for example is quite good, most morphemes look the same regardless of context and the pronunciation is derived fairly easily. When you need to write something down and you're unsure, just put that morpheme in a stressed position and copy it from there

you know what the logical conclusion of etymological orthography is? writing a dead language. in the case of english spelling; many of the etymologies it purports to reflect are flat out false

Next step: reinstate the old grammar. Or I should just say use a classical language, preferably your language's ancestor to gatekeep further

Are they real guys from some communities or something.. I regarded linguists and related specialists as broad minded, having huge outlook people that it's pleasant to talk to, as it's most likely to know a lot of new and interesting things from. I'm disappointed in this community, and in life at all. Though suicide is not a solution
