I don't think this has anything to do with defending women but okay.

either a.) state your pronouns in a different part of your message or b.) dont use any pronouns at all (no I, me, you, we, etc)
malicious compliance

I'd be strongly tempted to change my first name to an initial to force people who don't know to ask or choose to make an assumption.

This one wonders if the present is a time to discover what language without pronouns looks like. The one is morbidly amused that the issuer of the executive order, the issuer's supports, and the ones carrying out the issuer's orders don't understand the very concept of pronouns

That workplace sucks. Don't do it. It's not even legal
None of the EOs are legal. They are just orders/wishes. Any company or organization following them is just willfully complying. There is no legal basis to comply with anything at this time.
If some random company is enforcing this, file a complaint with the ACLU now.

Just made this comment elsewhere, but want to increase visibility for anyone else in the DOD who might see this:
Every other department can do this but NOT the DOD!
A couple years ago, Republicans in the House tried to slip in a provision in the NDAA that made it so that supervisors couldn't mandate pronouns in signatures, but Senate Dems countered with making it so that they can't be *prohibited* either.
That language made it in and is now in Title 10 USC Section 986[1].
That's an illegal order you just received, friend.

I'm not sure exactly how removing all pronouns from email signatures helps to defend women. I guess it stops them from being yelled at by those people who throw a fit whenever they see pronouns on screen, but a better solution would be to give those people therapy.

Thank god women are protected from the scary pronouns while they ban abortion and gender equality policies for those same women.
