My partner and I will be visiting Kalamazoo for the first time soon. Whenever we go somewhere new, we like to find locally made root beers and other non-alcoholic sodas. Usually, there's some made by a brewery but so far I have not seen any in my search of the area. Are there any? Even though it isn't root beer, I already have the sodas made by Pacific Rim Foods on our list.

The Root Beer Stand on the corner of Lovers Lane and Portage Road is a drive up stand that has made their own root beer for decades. It's phenomenal.
Another drive up root beer place is Reds Root Beer Stand in Paw Paw, about 10 miles west of Kalamazoo. It's right off of I-94.
Both places specialize in Root Beer and hot dogs.

One Well Brewing has it. They are a fun family friendly bar with great food, tons of pinball, pool, darts, and duck pin bowling.

Root beer stand was my first shout out but one that I’ll always mention is Stubby’s in Vicksburg. If you’re big on bbq, jerky, homemade root beer it might be a bit out of the way, but always worth the stop!

FYI, Root Beer Stand's root beer is a mass manufactured powdered mix. Not saying it's not good, but it definitely ISN'T craft.
One Well brews their own root beer and it's delicious. And it's NOT made from a powder!

Reds Root Beer Stand in Paw Paw is where me and my family regularly attended growing up. Always busy during the warmer months, staff is always very friendly and the food is decent
Closer to where I’m living now, I find my local root beer at One Well Brewing or Portage road. Very fun atmosphere, very laid back, good food!
