Has anyone had any luck getting through to legal aid attorney and or have they done a walk in to their office downtown Kalamazoo? I was served a summons for divorce and I also have a PPO that I need to fight even though it's past the 14 days. I have enough evidence for probable cause.

Who is the current Chief Judge of the Family Division? Getting divorced in Kazoo sucked when I went through it. Bell was the judge and Gorsalitz was Chief Judge.

It's been roughly two decades since I volunteered there, but from what I recall even with walking in you're basically going to be told to call the intake number.

There is also this online form[1] which might help.

This has been at least 10 months in the making and probably a lot longer than that. Planning for the divorce at the last minute is going to make it harder. But that doesn't change your situation so if you want some tips that are not legal advice let me know. Divorces are complicated but custody is not when it comes to Michigan courts.
