View submission: Trump administration sued over Guantánamo Bay migrant plan
Like to add Cuba *really* doesn't want any of it there anyway.
US pays a whooping $4000 a year for the lease.
No idea how all of that works. BUT what would be hilarious would be if the whole deal were somehow messed up if DOGE gets rid of the federal agency handling leased military land owned by foreign governments.

I read a while back that Cuba has only cashed 1 US check and that was an accident, since the US set up there.
