A ton of people in my neighborhood have had their water softeners fail and send resin beads through their fixtures. I read that high water pressure can cause the membrane to fail. Does anyone have a pressure regulator or pressure gauge on their main water line?

In Boone Co, but we had to replace some stuff 1.5 years ago because the pressure was too high and the plumber said it was intentionally made to be high. We had them add a regulator

I live in Holy Cross and just had to get a new water heater installed a few weeks ago when the tank on my old one cracked, possibly due to pressure issues. I had them install a pressure regulator along with the new heater.
