Hello r/india!
I'm a fourth year medical student from Bangalore. Whilst I've always been interested in art, recently I picked it up again. And I've been wondering if there was a way to sell these and maybe support myself financially for a bit. I have a wide range ( baroque style acrylic on canvas, oils, colour pencils, charcoal, digital) and I would be open to commissions. I've attached a few of my works, do let me know your thoughts! Constructive criticism is always appreciated :)

I like your work. My daughter sells on DeviantArt.com and Etsy, you might also try Gallerist.in which is a little more local for you. Good luck and keep going!

Medical student with good painting skills? There should be a few doctor jokes here.
Try local art galleries and strike a deal on commissions, instead of talking about the tools talk about the emotion / reason behind the paiting. If these are novel arts there's a better chance if you start making some buzz in Instagram and quota. Don't sell cheap, don't price it for the tools or your time, price it for the idea it represents. Good luck

Your first painting looks like an Indian version of Vermeer's Girl with the Pearl Earring. Great work!
Besides Etsy and DA, you can also try Amazon, Flipkart, ArtFinder or simply start a dedicated social media page or website with Shopify.

Hi, please don't mind the criticism, I would like you to take it positively to improve your art.
The light beams from the cars in the second picture are totally off. I'd suggest you look at photos of wet rainy streets and see how the light falls, so that you can make it more realistic.

Truly mesmerizing art, i must say. Probably approach some at galleries and gain commissions. Also you could try and approach some instagram pages that promote such works.
If these works are big enough, you could also approach some cafe to sell them as wall decor..

If you are in Bangalore, Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath often organises events for painters to showcase their art and make sales. Keep an eye out.

Etsy banned in India ( you can’t make seller account in it)
