Welcome to the GRMD (Global Reddit Meetup Day) Thread!

*Date**: 22nd June, 2019. (Saturday)

*Timings**: 5:00PM - 11:00PM ( Or wherever the night takes you)

*Venue**: Revolt, Jubilee Hills.[1] We have chosen this venue so as to fit the budget of the majority here, as Revolt is affordable (it has 2+2 on Drinks when Zomato Gold is availed and a 99 Menu) and allows minors but does not serve. Thus, we believe that it would be a good fit to all of our constraints.

**What is GRMD?**

A: GRMD stands for Global Reddit Meetup Day, an event spanning the entire reddit community, where individual communities host meetups where users can meetup IRL. Check out this Blog Post to know more.

**What do we usually do when we meetup?**

A: The agenda of the meetup is that there is no agenda. Users are supposed to meetup and have fun, indulge each other in interesting conversations and to have a memorable night.

**How much does it cost?**

A: Please ensure that you have ample cash. The cost would depend on whether you would drink, or not. **Remember, each member will pay for what he/she has ordered.**

**Do I have to reveal my reddit username or real name?**

A: Nope. You don't have to reveal anything you don't want to.

**I don't drink. What about me?**

A: You don't need to drink. We have several folks who don't drink and they do just fine.

**I don't like the venue.**

Since a lot of people seem to have problems with the venue, might I suggest Lamakan in Banjara hills. It has a chill vibe, pocket friendly menu and I think screening can be arranged as well.

I am not from Hyderabad, but I'll be there on 22nd June. I am not really an extremely social person, medium maybe. But I want be outgoing so I'll come. Hopefully it will be fun time, and I get to make a few friends.

I'm in but I have one question.

How will I identify the meetup? Like if an employee comes up to me and asks if I want a table, do I just say "I'm here for GRMD"?
