I’m not arguing whether he’s guilty or not. I’m just saying it’s a slippery slope designed to help people with money.
Guilty af people still get bonds.

You’re right, just crazy. He literally said he killed him, should get an expedited trial and sentenced within a week IMO.

It’s not designed to help people with money at all. You seem quite ignorant on how bail works in Texas.
If you are eligible for bail (rather if you are not ineligible for bail) whatever bail is offered is required to be affordable to you. If you cannot afford the bail you fill out paperwork and they lower it.
This is the main reason why when someone receives a “low” bail you’ll see so many ignorant Redditors crying like babies because they don’t understand bail is generally scaled based based on the finances of the accused not the severity of the crime.
