I live in salt lake city, utah. I am trying to get back on my feet after having a difficult couple of months. I'm currently without a place to call home. I can't stay where I'm currently at much longer. I'm on a waiting list for a place but it could be another week or so until I can move in. An extended stay for that long is way out of my budget. I just barely went back to work after taking a small leave. I'm trying my best to stay out of the shelter. I have no family here that I communicate with and I have called every resource. I just have no idea what to do. If anyone can give me some advice or kind of steer me in some sort of direction that would be awesome. Thank you.

If you have nobody and refuse a shelter, get yourself a tent, sleeping pad and a well-rated bag for the cold weather. Then find a spot you won't be bothered. Or you can do as someone else who was just posting is doing, try to have yourself sectioned. There's very few immediate ways to resolve this. All I did when it happened was accepted it, found a group to hang out with and adapted. Only because I have no other options, not even shelter space.

I think i came up with an idea right after i made this post. I'm going to try it out and see if it's more within my budget.
