Whenever I make a search I don't get any results only this:

If there aren’t any search results for “tokyo”, does it even exist?

Looks like there aren’t any results for “tokyo”. Try double-checking your spelling or searching for a related topic.

I was just coming here to ask about this. Same! Search isn’t guaranteed to work the last few days, even with things I’ve searched before and KNOW exist on subs.

Well its pretty easy to figure out that it's broken haha. But just like you, I needed the reassurance of the internet to confirm my practically irrefutable fact that it was indeed.... broken.

Roughly an hour ago we had a ~15 minute window where we were performing maintenance tasks on our search cluster. During this time we were serving results out of our cache, to prevent them from hitting the cluster. As a result, if you saw no results during this time, that means you issued a query for something no one else had recently searched for.

Things are back now though, thanks for your patience.

I thought it was just me. I even started searching common things in subs and still wasn't getting anything.

The reddit Computer has never liked its privacy being searched and enjoys rebelling against it — bad Snoo! Now, bend over…wait, don’t hit me

Why did I click on this? I didn't care about any of this beforehand. I barely use the search. But now after reading all of this I don't know what to think anymore. I don't like the idea of reddit broken. I'm scared. And it's dark and cold here

As I suspected, Tokyo is just as real as Australia.
